Why did this girl ghost me?

Hey guys,

So my buddy set me up with this girl through text. She looks good and seemed interested in me. Then out of nowhere she started getting distant and hasn’t responded in over a week.

My friend sent her pics of me before he gave me her number so she already knows what I look like.

I’m just so confused as to what went wrong here? I’m obviously not going to double text because I’m not a simp but I’m pretty bummed since she seemed sweet and I found her body+face attractive. I talked to a few friends of mine and they also seem confused. I am a year younger so maybe it was that?

That’s true. But the thing I don’t understand is why did she agree to take my number, message me and seem to be interested in a date? Like when my friend sent her pics of me she actively chose to give my buddy her number to give to me. Was she just looking for male validation?

There's no IOIs to be gauged by text, but you're falling into her frame by asking her when she is available/time, very beta. Also you let a lot of time go by before meeting up, which is never a good sign, for whatever reason that is out of your control, and more than likely it wasn't about you.

Next time be more assertive about the initial meet up, and don't follow up if she's "busy".
