Why do a fair amount of ethnic filipinos look latino/med-asian or latino or meditteranean when they allegedly have very little or no spanish dna

It's really bothering me, i can't make sense of it.

Could it be eugenics (asymmetric reproduction towards a more Spanish-like appearance), or just coincidental phenotypic convergence?

examples:

The majority do not like this bruh, have you ever even lived around Filipinos?

The reason these people look mexican or whatever is just cause they are brown, swarthbelt theory, thats why you can get a med looking indian or a mexican looking south east asian

I don't really live around them
When i do, they either look light brown or brown east asians (austronesian) or mestizo or cholo mexicanoid, or that.
