Why do a lot of guys prefer blondes but women don't prefer blonde guys?

I think that most of my friends prefer brunettes. but also a lot like blondes or redheads. Maybe I'm wrong but I have the impression that women just go for tall, dark-haired and handsome men. What do you think?
