What I mean is, most of the flamboyant ones who are really extroverted and talk about how theyre gay and go to gay pride parades and all that, usually raise the pitch of their voice so its probably a sample selection problem. That small sample of guys are remembered as the gay guys while the other guys, who might be gay but talk normally, arent remembered that way

Damn maybe the difference is big enough then. I remember seeing a few studies that tested this and found that the testosterone levels for gay men where the same as for straight men, but some of the studies found consistently higher voice pitch among the gay men even though testosterone was the same. So it could be that their voices are naturally the same pitch but they learn to speak higher pitched as a cultural thing.
