Because Northern Europe/Germany has no legit connection to Aryans. That was all Nazi wrong info. There were actually people known as "Aryans" (Iran means "land of the Aryans") that were from Asia and had a common language and culture. Hence the name Indo-Aryan had to be used because of Hitler.
