Why do archetypes exist?

I was kind of wondering this, because wouldn’t certain archetypes be better and wouldn’t you want to subjectively reach the most handsome possible which would be in mirror of the perfect human.
Which presumably probably won’t have any archetypes if it has one wouldn’t everyone want to be that archetype to max out potential.

you can’t just be perfect, no matter how many surgeries you get or how many things u change you’ll still fit into a certain archetype. The best approach is just to max it out.
