why do black people use the term "king" and "queen" so much

i cant imagine my parents calling themself king and queen (white, european, middle class)

and in my class i never heard people using that term, maybe its limited to english the language

i mean the youth, foids say shit like "yaaaaas queen" (cringe), and guys say shit like "lift your head up king"

not in my language but its interesting to hear that young people are using it regardless of ethnicity. i thought it was just black slang

yeah it probably originally was but the youth of all races imitate black culture, atleast they do here in the states
 
inferiority complex honestly. same reason for why black women are always saying shit like "omg black women are so beautiful" or something like that when they see a good looking black woman

I don't know about this but, in some language - my home tongue for example - title of nobelty and especially politness are very common.
Not king and queen tho, it sounds too farfetched.
