Why do dictators almost always had mustaches/beard and modern presidents are almost all clean-shaved

Clean Shaven makes you look more high trust, it's cleaner, and looks more professional. That's why presidents are clean-shaven there is no advantage to have hair on your face if you are trying to convince over half the country to vote for you.

Being President is like advertising a product to Citizens,it has to look clean,sharp and "trustworthy" like comment above me said.Whereas Dictators are mostly Mavericks that usually get into power through subversion without Public consent,they can essentially be who they want without scrutiny idk lol,just my opinion

I would say that clean shaven makes you seem more refined,not necessarily high trust,that's more to do with bones and eyes
