There was less gene flow towards scandinavia compared to germany, that's why they remained purest. The ancient north germanic people inhabited south scandinavia and northern germany.

I have some graphics from some trustworthy guys, south Swedes I think have some dna from the continent which would be diluted. I'd think Norwegians would have high aswell but then I remember they brought back alot of Isles women as wives so that must've diluted it a bit whilst east Swedes never brought back any russian girls.
