This is not true. Middle class American lives just fine it's the bottom rungs of society and trailer trash that don't get shit and end up as homeless, drug addicts. Many states have great welfare too. California in particular being a liberal state has a ton of benefits and social nets. CalFresh provides monthly food benefits with EBT cards along monthly welfare checks and homeless shleters. You can also make shit ton of money is any job in america to come out of poverty too. You just need to hard working or/talented @FaceandBBC
