Why do everyone in west lie about their heights?

Just saw a youtube video where a guy was trynna expose highschoolers lying about their heights. I watched 5 diff videos

Majority of them were white too

And guess what? They all claimed above 6'0+ and turned out to be 5'8.

I have seen like 4-5 diff channels dude, like 1 out of every 4 guy are actually truthful about their height and they r always under 6'0

Only saw 4-5 actual 6'0+ guys in 6 videos

I'm currently in my heating class in college rn. 2 guys are shortish and look 5'6-5'8. 2 guys look slightly above me at 6'2ish. Most of the class ranges from 5'10 to like 6ft. At 6ft I don't feel special at all, not short but not tall.

Even my old white teacher is like 5'10.
