Why do eyes look bigger in the mirror than in selfie

Anyone else find this or just me? Always thought my eyes look bigger in the mirror than in a selfie. Just came to mind

my eyes kinda look the same in selfie

it's in mirror pic where they look small a lil bit but most ppl eyes look smaller in mirror i think

Yes but they very rare pretty sure only Eriksen has an eye area like that. Gandy is long but his is vertically narrow because of his hooding

Same here. I think it’s due to the fact that the outer corners of the eye are set back in the skull a little more than the inner ones. Form a camera lens’s perspective, it looks smaller when rendered into a 2D plane
