they probably grew up slighlty fat which means they were getting more nutrients compared to leaner indivisuals, letting them reach more of their height potential. Although growing up very fat can do the opposite and can weaken the effects of puberty thus causing them to be shorter. people who grew up in a slight constant bulk will achieve a better puberty, most likely making them taller and better looking in the face (if they cut)
