they say MUH IT HELPS ME COPE but doesn't it just create MORE problems for you to deal with? once you cut yourself you have to focus on hiding the cuts and making sure no one sees them for the 2+ weeks that they're on your body. so that's just adding 1 more stressor onto their alleged problems. do they secretly LIKE having issues or something?
