Title. All the germans I've talked to speak really good English. They do have an accent sometimes but they are fluent. Like they could go up and talk in front of an english crowd no problem. That is not the case with French, Spanish, Italians who struggle with English. Even Swedish people speak English well.

Germanic languages and English is the universal language so they learn since young and it's far easier for them to learn beacuse of the overlap between the languages

Germanic language, and they have an autistic perfectionist culture where learning technical specifications and rules is a big deal. This is perfect for grammar. Big contrast compared to Poland. Most polish young people can barely speak proper English, but the second you step into germany even boomers have good English.
