Were prehistoric humans much more similar and same in apearance when grown?

One could argue it’s the environment that’s making us like this. But you could put two people with almost identical lives and they would turn out different.

Because there are different species of humans we are not all the same species

There are hippos that are literally 80% smaller than the African ones what cope are you spouting
 
There are hippos that are literally 80% smaller than the African ones what cope are you spouting
they are not the same species. They’re different species within the hippo family (Hippopotamidae). In fact, they’re different enough that they’re placed in different genera:


  • Common hippo → Hippopotamus
  • Pygmy hippo → Choeropsis (sometimes historically Hexaprotodon)

I am talking in same race populations, such as europe.
 
That's a good question! Humans also have the most variation in diet.
