Post op a week and a half form strabismus surgery

I had depth perception and binocular vision for the first few days

But then I started to lose it

Now I’m back to seeing with one eye

It’s like I got a taste of how beautiful the world is and lost it again right back to square 1

And I can’t talk to my surgeon until a few weeks from now

Fuck my life man I’m so depressed rn

It’s like seeing again for the first time

Objects kind of jump out at you instead of looking flat

When I had it, looking at the tv or screens for example looked so flat compared to real life

Now it’s all the same again to me

I wish that I never saw it in the first place now that it’s gone and I know what I was missing
