Why do I feel bad for my girlfriend?

For some reason seeing her perfectly clear skin makes me feel bad because my skin is bloated and acne ridden

Its like beauty and the beast type shit almost like im holding her hostage and forcing her to love a pimply skinny freak

Dude, getting acne and whatnot is completely human, it's not like she's going to leave you for those conditions. I feel like everyone in their right mind wouldn't, as a simple thing like that shouldn't be in the way of your relationship. And if she were to judge you for it, are you really dating the right person? Don't look down on yourself just because your skin isn't living up to your standards at the moment, it takes a lot of time, a healthy diet and medication. Most importantly, don't be afraid to consult a dermatologist, if anything, they'll find the root cause for you. I wish you lots of luck bro, there's absolutely no need for you to degrade yourself like that when you're going through something very natural

Thanks bro, recently been focusing a lot on making my skin less puffy and less acne

My girlfriend is really supportive of it though and she says she doesnt think the acne is bad at all

I tend to overthink that im forcing her to look at my horrible skin but my acne is just around moderate to be objective

Aw there you have it, look at you go. Nothing to worry about at all. Glad you're self-aware on the overthinking part, if you come to terms with it then I'm pretty sure you can get over the mental part fairly easily. It's easier said than done but surely you can manage
