Why do I find it harder to talk to girls?

I used to brag loads about my looks, some really popular girl said to me “if you didn’t brag so much you would be so attractive” which boosted my ego loads.

With my girlfriend I bragged loads and I used to approach women

After spending time on here I have become more humble, my view of my looks has definitely become more realistic, sure I look better than average but it’s not enough to get girls just by it

Anyway girls try to talk to me now and I am so awkward, I can barely speak to them without them doing it first, and if they do I just shake out a reply barely. Especially if they look good

I have not had a girlfriend in ages and I feel like my desire for them is going down for some reason

I want to get a girlfriend this summer, but I don’t wanna be approaching them as it’s kind of cringe really

Honestly I’m just happy doing my own thing right now, and hoping a girl will come to me
