Why do i find short women more atteactive

I'm pretty tall (185cm at 13) and when I'm looking for girls I try to date ones on the taller side like 170-175cm but I find that shorter girls are on average more attractive to me. Obviously I wouldn't ruin my genetics by dating a short women but I'm just curious why I'm more attracted to them.

They're smaller and make you feel more protective over them.

You can date short girls, just don't have kids with them I guess. Date whoever you like.
