Why do I have so much saliva?

For a long time this effected my speech but I was able to overcome this by changing the way I spoke but I still have so much saliva in my mouth no matter what when I talk I don’t mean to but it can spray if I don’t control it and it’s fucking quite frankly disgusting so I make sure to stay aware of things, I’m unable to sing lol I’ll just end up spitting everywhere idk if this is somthing I’m able to fix but I’m thinking it has to be something about the way my tongue is positioned in my mouth it doesn’t have space to extend fully so maybe it’s because of my overbite what y’all think
