Why do I have the intellectual curse at a low iq?

It’s something I don’t understand since I have the iq (90) of a simpleton who should go through life without overthinking or questioning the nature of it all. Yet I can’t help but be unable to settle for copes or rest my mind on something I cannot be sure of.

Many philosophers with higher iq have had this problem and many of them call it a curse of intellect

So how does a low average iq guy like me share this from childhood?

I truly don’t know if intellect and seeking answers, curiosity is a sign of high iq since from my research iq analyses the speed at which someone can solve problems

But ppl seem to associate intellect with iq

Yeah maybe it’s like I said here but I notice don’t the ppl with higher iq tend to have a harder time excepting thing’s partially due to being able to process all their questions in their mind?

I notice some ppl just go through life in acceptance with things like religion and meaning don’t really care about much beyond natural instincts for sex and satisfaction in dopamine

I used to believe the cope that being depressed was a sign of high IQ, but it's not. It's a sign you're not retarded, but real high IQ (and all round intelligent and wise) people realise there is no point in being unhappy, since literally everything is what u make of it and most human concepts of a good life need to be abandoned

Many people perceive me as intelligent due to curiosity I’ve always had so I have a grasp on more topics than the average person. But my iq is 90 from results on iq tests I took, but actual iq tests none of the online website ones

I just notice people with average iq tend to not reflect much they cling onto something like politics, sports, religion and don’t bother actually delving into other opinions

So when you speak to them it’s like speaking to someone with a locked mind even ppl who claim to be intellectual like Reddit atheists share the same ways with being obsessed with anything science and not letting themselves see other topics most of these ppl are average iq

But I even tho I am average in iq have a way more open mind to everything. I learn everything basically all points of views

99% of ppl just hold onto something that resonates with them and have no interest of exploring any other point of view beyond a biased critique of it

For me it has never been enough, I do extensive research into everything and try to remain unbiased to find the most logical solution

Yes, but truly wise people see that as a blessing. You're no longer confined by the restraints of the average person's interests, goals, perceptions. It's what monks aim to achieve. It is basically enlightenment
And people like leo Tolstoy aren't stupid. But not wise either. Dwelling on "problems" is retarded. The world is crazy. U try and fix any real problems in your life, and smile at being alive
Also, all these old philosophers are always overrated in terms of intellect
