Why do i keep eating?

I love the feeling of being hungry, i hate the feeling of being full. And yet time after time i cannot resist the taste of food. Even when im not even hungry i cannot stop until im at the brink of puking. Im very active, but my addiction for food never stops. Its like an endless cycle everyday. I only feel good when starving but yet i cannot do it. How can i make this easier, is willmaxxing the only way?

So when im ACTUALLY trying to get lean i only eat one meal a day which is usually what my mom makes, often meat with carbs such as rice or potatoes, but i always count the calories and try to get under 1500. I also walk like 10k steps a day. But whenever i get these fucking crashouts i can eat up ti like 5k without even trying, sweets cakes, pizzas whatever comes to my mind. I have a very good mental strebght so im good at ”starving” but whenever i get these crashouts its almost impossible to go back. It can take months. But yea on the ”lean diet” i eat basicly meat fruits and some stachy carbs. But ALWAYS little portions

Look, school helps with appetite control since I can’t eat during class just spread out your meals, if u tryna lose fat eat half of ur maintenance for 3 days then maintenance for the rest of the week and make sure you’re building muscle, they’re very important for appetite control

Look, school helps with appetite control since I can’t eat during class just spread out your meals, if u tryna lose fat eat half of ur maintenance for 3 days then maintenance for the rest of the week and make sure you’re building muscle, they’re very important for appetite control
Thats such a good idea, when im at school i can EASILY not eat for 24h+ not even trolling. But when im at home its like fucking torture.

You mentioned you eat rice and potatoes? Thats just sugar. If you can make it like 2 weeks without sugar ur good

Cutting sugar is overrated bro just focus on protein + carbs for that food coma and satiety

A better strategy would be to have fat refeed days where you eat plenty of fat for slower digestion so that the next day u can eat more protein and carbs while not having a completely empty stomach the next day since fat doesn’t really have effects as direct as protein and carbs that you can see directly after a meal

In a deficit those two are more important, all of them are but you can’t have all balanced in a deficit
Protein yes is important
Carbs? Has nothing + spikes your insulin
Fat? Vitamins A,D,E,K2

How old are you? Any age below 20 you should be eating whenever your body wants to (good food Ofcourse) development is key
 
Protein yes is important
Carbs? Has nothing + spikes your insulin
Fat? Vitamins A,D,E,K2
If u wanna restrict carbs go ahead. Been there, done that. It’s just not sustainable and you’ll get that fat back right after ur done since your body’s gonna crave sugar
Also carbs doesn’t mean only white rice and fries. Fruits have carbs and are rich is macronutrients and essential vitamins.
I’m telling you not restricting carb works much better and keeps the fat off, no rebound

No nigga I already done that. I don’t do things that don’t work. There’s no point in losing fat easier or faster if ur just gonna get it back faster. You can’t just run on willpower alone and your brain loves glucose so chances are you’ll want to eat carbs after ur done. You need to understand your powerlessness to be stronger

But mental health matters too, and can have effects on development too. If you don’t like what you see in the mirror your life will most likely be shittier and so will your development be, kind of like a cascade at least that’s what I think

My thoughts are that restricting any macronutrient is cope if you’re not gonna keep restricting them for the rest of your life. You should eat things you’d normally eat on a deficit and only the portion should change.
As always you need to know your powerlessness to be greater. No one is all powerful and if you think you can go on will alone you’ll crash badly. Satiety and hunger aren’t illusions or feelings but real physiological factors, it’s not just about your will but your own body limits what your mind wants

Well i wouldnt say carbs are macronutrient, would even say they are a nutrient but okay. Technically i wont restrict them cuz u will still drink milk but its like 60g of day only

well the brain primarily runs on glucose for a reason, I think the carb hate is really forced. Maybe « everything in moderation » is actually true, the physiological effects of carbs on the body are more complex and much more than just an insulin spike, they increase IGF-1, Leptin, Thyroid Hormones and even other factors we can’t even mention them all. Hormones need to be taken into consideration too, they’re very important..

Ye i agree, but if i eat one big meal a day you wont spike, you will only bunp ur insulin which is healthier, also your brain runs 70% on ketones and you get glucose from gluconeogenesis

The brain gets 70% of energy from ketones only after full adaptation, 2 weeks keto for example. I also find that spreading small meals throughout the day is much easier mentally and makes the deficit feel like maintenance. I think that something is significant or worth it only if it is sustainable, so if you can afford to eat one big meal a day and keep doing that without rebounding after completion then that’s perfect but if not then it’s just pointless and « grazing » would be a healthier option long terms since you get to keep the fat off and THAT will make you a thousand times healthier

sad niggas fear monger ppl saying how youll be bloated and shit when in reality if you eat decent your development will be good. I use to be pretty chubby and always hated it JFL but realized later on since I was eating so much (mostly meat but sludge aswell) and had good sleep grew to my full potential
