Does anyone else just have the need to lie about everything, even if it doesn’t even benefit you. My parents would ask me what I ate and I would say some random fucking food I haven’t eaten in like a year for no reason, except I do think it is beneficial considering I now know how to get away with lying lmao.

It depends why you're lying. If you are lying because it's easier to lie than just tell the truth, that's weak and cowardly.

e.g., you tell your friend you forgot to send him money, when in actuality you chose not to pay him because he still hasn't paid you for the previous loan you sent
