Why do I look good but bad at the same time?

I swear I look good in certain photos but then when i'm recorded my profile goes to cheeks I actually hate it am I just worrying too much about this or am I recessed? The first and second picture is me a year ago all my friends deny any facial changes but I swear to god my face got wider, longer or something. The last four pics are me currently. Note I was 20 in the first two pics and i'm 21 now, plus my wisdom teeth grew in a year ago not sure if that affects it.

so does everyone just look ass in bad lighting? even models? I'm new to this shit tbh. Because I notice when the lighting is facing me and not above me my bones look insane. chin,zygos,infras. I have seen the chico side prof photo, but when he's in normal lighting he's actually got an insane side tbf. would you say bad lighting is a more accurate representation of forward growth or no?

Yes, generally everyone looks worse in bad lighting. If you have good facial structure you look worse to a much lesser extent even in bad lighting.

are my eyes too close set? I never heard that before from anyone, I agree on the infra and angularity, I may be bloated or high bf, plus I have flat infras
