Why do I look like shit when I wear hats, and how can I fix that?

Legit for some reason whenever I wear a cap it looks bad on me. Idk if its the type of hat or not but the same hats my friend wear, I try and I look like shit while they look good

i have typical diamond skull shape, with the rounded head above. Can be hidden with hair but a hat will put the hair down and look ugly.
