Well we can't tell with more info maybe a picture could help, but could be anything lens distortion, angle, lightning in the photo, facial expression a lot of things can affect it

bloating changes thru out the day and also lighting, the angle prob matters a lot. but from like 8am-3pm i look way worse than 3pm-10pm i just am much less bloated and the lighting at night is better

Yeah everything i said angle, lightning, facial expression, lens distortion its all different in both pics but dw you're not bad looking just dont bite ur cheeks if that's what ur doing to make hollow cheeks look as it can create long term problems

also seeing yourself in the mirror can be misleading since you instinctually correct any bad habits you might be doing and usually start squinting subconsciously

so you'd straighten your back, squint a bit etc.

The difference in lighting can make a massive change, besides lens distortion and other things, because you are comparing the before and after with the same camera and at the same distance
