Why do I look so much better in snapchat camera

I think I look like 2 times better when using snap to take pictures instead of normal camera app, even when I think I look my best using the snap camera I will try to take a selfie and end up looking retarted. Ik the camera app is inverted but I'm wondering if people see me how I see myself using Snapchat cam or normal cam. am I js worrying for nothing?
