Why do I see rainbows when the sun hits my eyelashes

Because the light warps around them which is called diffraction

But i saw that and was confused because i thought only clear things could make rainbows like a prism and that like onky things with white or whatever can make rainbows because white is every color

But that is called refraction or when light passes through something

Any tightly packed thing at an angle can refract light shining at it
