gg bro.I think the main mistake you made was trading bishops at around move 24.You had a lot of pieces attacking my king and a lot of pressure since you also had that passed pawn

Its not really about how good your mind is so dont think your brain is bad or you are an iqlet its just about pattern recognition and thats all most intermediate and good players are very good at pattern recognition for you to be able to do that start playing bullet matches then you will recognise patterns fast and then try them in rapid games

Yeah I was at a loss I knew I had an attack I just didn’t know how to make it work properly

The more you play, the more your mind will subconsciously recognize patterns, strategies, placement, etc. When you play now I'm sure you instantly recognize things that you never would have grasped when you first started playing. With studying the openings, strategies, and playing a lot, and paying attention, you will be able to effortlessly do things that you would have had to think about in the past. I think over examining individual mistakes is not very helpful, and it's best to play more against different people and start to form instinctual or intuitive understanding rather than complex step by step analysis of strategies

I peaked at 2030 on lichess. Tbf all you need is to know some opening principles for openings. To improve I suggest watching some yt educational speedruns when bored. Also solve tactics but maybe thats too high effort. Most important is playing and reviewing after

okay so the way you get better at chess is fairly easy.
learn a singular opening for white or black, something slightly theory dense but not too hard.
solve a few puzzles on lichess, sorted by your white/black opening.
eventually you'll get better, maybe a week into it.


you can hit 1500 elo pretty easily just doing this.

after this you've to learn the endgame for a while, not too much though.
just a few rules, jeremy silman has a book on this and the lessons have been divided by your "elo".

analyse your own games, and once a week try analysing a masters game.

i was obsessed with it so i got pretty good pretty fast when i was i think 13-14.

Well in blitz everyone plays on intuiton. I would recommend playing some rapid
