Why do I try to make myself mysterious as if I’m someone that people are dying to unravel?

Like for example at my old job when we made a list of our favorite things, I didn’t want my coworkers to know the real me so I put random shit so they wouldn’t have a definitive “image” of me in their mind. I didn’t want to be truly known so I hid behind all these other things and fake hobbies and styles so no one would know the true me as if it’s some huge honor or award to know the real me
