why do lgbt people act like they don’t know what you mean when u call them gay

ppl will be like “i’m not gay i’m trans since i like the opposite gender” when clearly they’re still gay faggots. or when u say “lgbt”, ppl act like u literally mean lesbian gay bisexual and trans and they think “i’m not lgbt since i’m demigender”
