Why do mexicans look like North indians/punjabis?

Am I tripping or do these people look like they are all in the same race? The first 2 people are hispanic, bottom 2 are indians.

yes I agree that’s why I said THEY CAN look alike. There are Arab that look Latino there’s Curries that look Iranian and Iranians that look Arab and even Slavic.

whislt the majority have their own phenotype the fact is there’s overlap somewhere that allows them to all have members that look the same. For example there’s no blacks who look white (even in facial features and I’m speaking about negroids only so no Cushitics) or whites that look negroid even if they have full lips and the like

a minority of the local population has arab ancestry. Most have lots of med admixture who have the same skin tone,nose shape,eye area etc on average as arabs

OP is asking more about causality and quantum.

What you say is correct, but in each case only applies to about 3%-5% of people (3-5% of curry look Arab, and 3-5% of Arab look Latin).

That means less that 0.1% of curries should be passing for Latin.

However in the case if Mexico specifically, I see it being a lot more, as in I see quite a bit of overlap.

My theory would be something like this OP:

The Aztec features had to go through less latitude adaptions when they left Asia compared to say Incas, chichuawas, Guarani, etc, so they retained more Caucasian DNA (remember natives were a mix of Caucasian and rice).

Mexico didn't have the negroid migrations that other slave colonies like Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia, and the Carribbean had, so there was no black DNA to change th mix further.

It could also be an impact if mexico had a higher proportion of migrants from southern Spain, which was med, and also moorish at the time, and as we know southern Spaniards look quite Punjabi, whereas more if Latam had migrants from the north, Galicia, bazque etc.

Finally it may be down to Mexico having Arab migrants from further east, who look more curry. In the rest of LATAM the ethnic migrants came in the early 20rh century and were mainly Lebanese, Syrian, Turkish.

The fact is simple latinos are mostly Spanish (Castizos and mestizos). Spanish are part Berber/Arab

Arabs and Curries have simular phenotype despite both having distinct loooks on avg infact my Arab mate looks North Indian and it’s a running joke in his family that he’s a curry due to this.

so they are all related

Here’s the bigger joke. Whites are related to Arabs and blacks are related to Arabs (due to slavery and general proximity and trade and Ethiopians owning them)

so arabs are the ultimate mullatos
