Why do mixed ethnics try to boast their non-white heritage so much?

Title. I find it that ethnics often try to credit or identify with their non-white side, such as Nic Kaufmann who virtue signals and says that if he was full Indian he would still be swimming in bitches when the only reason he isn't on this site is because his father is german



This doesn't really apply to mulattos as much since they probably need to default to thugmaxxing no matter what. Im talking about more about ethnics who are hapa, half curry half white, etc.

What's up with this? Do they just not understand that being ethnic is bad?

Because it will make them look "pathetic/self hating" if they dont try to suck up to their non-white heritage, and because ethnics will drag them down with them if the guy ever starts to embrace his white heritage. If he ever embraces his white heritage, there will always be an ethnic to remind him that part of him is ethnic just keep reminding him that he will always be non-white. Its called "crabs in the bucket mentality". I'm not pathetic like that however, I congratulate and am happy for any mix guy that manages to look almost white and barely like his ethnic background, especially if they are half curry. They managed to be able to escape this curse, good for them!

I've decided to start doing this recently, but i dont leave my house so haven't really done it yet, but i will for virtual signaling (since my ethnicity is virtue signalled and has thugmaxxing potential) and also because i dont look white. I did however spend most of my life believing i was white which does make sense because i grew up around whites, had some white genes, and didn't have many interactions with non-white culture (still don't). The main reason i will is because being perceived as white will never be a possibility so it's the next best thing
