Why do models pout?

Models seek fantasy and desire to be mysterious in nature while exuding confidence and appealing to their audiences. In order to do so, their poses have to give off a relaxed yet sexy vibe. Enter: the pout.

Psychology of pouting:
- Brings about passion
- A sense of sensuality
- Provides relaxation allowing the model to focus on their eyes/mouth simultaneously

Psychology of a closed mouth:
- Less sex appeal/trust
- Hidden emotions
- Introvertedness

Now the important question...

Why isn't it possible for everyone to pull this off?

Answer:
Those who can make the pout expression and still look good typically don't have any overbites/underbites (or jaw asymmetries), thin lips, have a naturally lifted upper lip slightly revealing their front teeth.

females pout a lot ofc , good looking (even mm tier) people I know don't do that. A lot of guys who are into makeup pout so it reflects their feminine side, or models are instructed to do that for better photos during shooting.

Yes I did. Models pout for sex appeal/appear mysterious in a sense. You can only do so, however, if you have:
- No jaw failos (overbites/underbites)
- Slightly lifted upper lip (exposing frontal teeth)
- Thin lips
