Why do modern papuans look a bit different to vintage aboriginals from Australia? Is it due to diet or is it because of admixture?

And if it's admixture, admixture from whom exactly? South East Asians? And how much?
The same thing happens with Andeans from Peru. They look rather different from indigenous Americans.
Both are still robust AF though, but I wonder if they prove the diet = facial bone theory.
