Why do mods take so long to read your pm’s?

Everytime I click one I am sooooooo close to getting into touch with them fast. They’re always either “last seen 2 minutes ago” “last seen 7 minutes ago engaged in conversation” “last seen 11 minutes ago” then once you contact them you’d expect a reply by them within the next 6 hours to even days…

Probably because the amount of messages they get on daily basis is overwhelming for them. I once asked to get self banned and one of the mods just liked my message and nothing happened…
