Why do most models have long midfaces despite shorter midface being a sign of better cranioficial development?

Popular models such as bella hadid, and MANY many others have long midfaces, overall long midface populations such as many in the west, are more aesthetic compared to shorter midface majority populations such as in the East. So why's that?

All of the "long" midfaces you showed are normal, they just have wide IPD/big lips. Compare them to Gosling/Adam Driver and you'll see the difference

A relatively long midface due a tall maxilla rather than downward growth is a masculine dimorphic trait. It’s why tall skulls are ideal.
