Why do my eyes look longer when someone else records me, but when I record it stabilized on a stand my eyes look shorter

Like when I get my mom to record me so I can analyze myself (aspie I know) my eyes look longer, more full etc more proportionate

When I record it on a stationary stand they look smaller almost, less long

Lens distortion. You probably film yourself at a further distance than other people do, I'd not say it makes them look longer but definitely gives the appearance of a wider IPD.
