Why do my family members finds me ugly but new people don`t

When i met some of my blackpilled friends (specifically 3) they always compilemented me first. But my family and friends whom i know from young age (before puberty) have kind of opposite reaction. My family members have never complimented me and my old friends sometimes even make fun of my looks (idk if they are serious), but when I met new people the reaction is quiet positive. What could be the case? Is it beacause my ugly past is framed in their head or I have low real life appeal.

Sounds like bullshit to me, even if that was the case at least 1 member of your family/friends would tell you (directly or indirectly) that you're not that ugly anymore
