On Tinder, looks aren't enough, you also need to be good at texting and you have to be extremely photogenic in your pictures.

But even then, the main problem with dating apps is that women will struggle to make a genuine connection through texting, and most will not be able to develop enough trust with the guy to meet him in person after exchanging very few messages.

One technique that I saw a youtuber use is that he talked with each woman on whatsapp before dating them to build trust and connect with them first, to make them want to see him in person. But even then, to achieve that, you need to be good looking enough to be swiped on.

The difference in real life is that women respect confidence in men. This is why if I approach a 5/10 woman in real life I am more likely to succeed with her there than on Tinder, even if I am inexperienced because it feels more real and she can judge based on the way that I talk if I am attractive enough or not.

It really isn't rocket science, a picture will never be able to convey as much emotion or trust as a real life encounter.
And when you're on Tinder, you're competing against other guys based only on your looks, while in real life, a guy who is extremely boring will have less success than a guy who sounds interesting even if the boring guy is better looking.
Online dating used to be seen as weird back in the 2000s and in the early 2010s, it is just after Tinder appeared that it became more mainstream, but it hasn't replaced IRL dating and it never will, because of the things that I have mentioned.

im 20 now. and fuck it, jbs all the way. her family accepted me too but her dad did hold some hatred.

ive only ever got with white girls, 1 mulatto girl. i prefer asian girls but just never worked out with them.

Never use dating apps. You pay the online tax and date down 2 points on there, and lose tons of time and don't develop social skills/cold approach skills.

Best bet is looksmax/tanmax and approach iOis at dog parks, walking dog, gym, outside of gym, daytime bars. If your "out and about" 1-2hrs a day and not just at the office/apt. Then you will have plenty of options

Gymmaxxing and leanmaxxing really is the key to ascending for guys like me who have a normie face and above average height.

My main problem is that I am not very patient with the whole process, and I don't set my priorities right.
I think that the best way I can fix it is by having a balance by not being hyperfocused on the gym but simply doing what is needed, and then going out to get laid while I improve my body. Also, I have found that whenever I spend time playing video games or spending time online late at night, I lose track of time and end up going to sleep at 3 or 4 AM, only to then wake up a 8 AM, which leaves me with such a lack of sleep, that I end up making up for the lack of recovery by constantly delaying my workouts, which leads me to an accidental 1 month break, and then I have to start over from the beginning which is extremely discouraging.
I found that the best way for me to avoid staying up too late at night is to restrict myself to reading books on my Kindle because whenever I read, I don't lose track of time, and it helps me to fall asleep.

Just shut out all distractions for 6 months and focus on improving at the gym - trust me you'll see results. Also, your height is not above average - it is top tier, literally top 1%.

Never used Tinder but females even years ago were pickier on those dating sites than they were at bars. They can be picky at bars also but nothing like these dating sites I think.
