sometimes its the truth but you don't really know in the moment, like the first phrase would be something like some things that seem wrong in the moment may lead to better outcomes in the future but i get your point, holding those beliefs at your core would be damaging

i was referring to when someone gets rejected from their dream university and how the comments all say this bullshit

Like realistically, losing a place from Cambridge and downgrading to Bath isn't redirection nor does it really have a good reason and is most likely just due to inadequacy..
