True, my grandpa died in late 2018 and was 22 when it ended, he was sent to forced labour and stuff when the Germans occupied and saw some awful shit there. It’s weird when the war feels so far away, but still feels close because there are very old people who experienced it. I guess I just see the war in a historical context whereas most normies see it in a litteral context
