What they mean is just attractive, but it is a polliticaly correct way to say it. Because saying someone is attractive implies the existance of unattractive people, but god forbid someone can be ugly. Conventionaly attractive means just attractive in a traditional way, still leaves the possibility of others who do not fit that to be attractive. Idk I am just rambling here.
