how did we genuinely get to this point in society
social media completely destroyed people’s expectations. now normal guys get mocked just for not being 6'5 with perfect genetics, money, and looking like a chad. meanwhile half the people judging are using filters, makeup, angles and editing but still act like their standards are “normal”.
like i was watching some shit on tiktok and when did 5'9 suddenly become short? when did average looking become “ugly”? it feels like everyone’s perception of reality got cooked by tiktok and instagram.

im not even trying to hate, but the standards nowadays are actually insane and it lowkey ruins people mentally
