Well it is a sequence of actions you take after considering the bp as true. However, I think what he means is not that you deny the bp by it, but rather then doing it implies that you can “escape” bp, which would contradict the bp itself, meaning unalterable genetic determination. Which in a way you try to “do” with hardmaxing, where as with soft maxing it’s more so knowing it you don’t let, what you already have, unused. To state a similair scenario as an example; Say there’s a cake factory, and you have a certain number of people. And the rule being that only people with purple hair may eat cake, whereas people with other hair colours may not, for reasons unknown, may be that their digestive system is best at it.You being a person without purple hair, cannot eat it by law, however you still want to. But you know the “truth”/“law”, you cannot eat cake. So far you have the bp, meaning in this context you cannot eat cake, but you still want to. So what do you do, you make your hair to appear purple, so that you are accepted by law to do so. So you will be able to eat cake. That would be looksmaxxing. You didn’t really change genetic determinism, you frauded the authorities. If you only look at it from your personal gain, taking into account that the cake doesn’t physically hurt people of other hair color individually, you gained smth by frauding the original law, this may have consequences on the general population, the rule wasn’t for nothing after all, there might have been some reasoning behind it. But, regardless you disguised yourself as a person with the digestive system of a purple haired person, and gained it’s role, this is objective. However, if the rule was based on digestive systems, and only purple haired people eating cake would bring some sort of advancement, you won’t be of use to the population since you didn’t intrinsically change.
