Actually you can stop mass surveillance. If you are some international drug/human trafficker or run pedo pizza sites on dark net and are being pursued by law enforcement you’re cooked yes but mass surveillance only works because data harvesting is currently cheap and automated. I've said it before. Complete data privacy is not possible but privacy enough to act as detterance is.
