average anime & manga is much better than cucked and censored western media. I put manga and anime in the same category, the japanese have absolutely no taboo when it comes to media and art.
I've also enjoyed a couple of japanese books both in english and german language.

And there is one manga(with anime adaptation) with lots of friedrich nietzsche and carl gustav jung. It's fun to re-read a very dense manga or book and find something new each time. Or listening to how other people perceive certain panels, pages, episodes etc.. Fun af.
