Why do people expect pro athletes to care

They are making millions a year to play a school yard game I wouldnt take my career or the people in the audience serious either

Imagine you are just born a genetic monster and get paid to play a sport that was always easy for you since a kid because of your superior genetics, you make millions and people expect you to care and put your all out there. I would think everyone is stupid as hell
