Because the beautiful person is seen as someone with more value. Because of their looks, they are given every advantage of being seen as someone superior in the sense that they're more trusted, respected, loved, etc.

I don't wish harm or death upon anybody, but I feel bitter sometimes towards those Chads at school that have everything handed to them without trying.
